My studies have an economic background with specializations in accountancy, operations research and portfolio management.
The professional activities are performed near to 30 year in the financial sector and included functions as CFO of coordination center, consulting, project- and process management in different banks,... during many years these functions were combined with teaching in college. CFO and founding partner of a co-ordination center and other service groups.
I get the support and input of many other colleagues which revise and complement my work.
My home address:

Many development teams, which I fully trust, are now ready to cope with bigger projects.
Motivation
Experience can rightly be claimed only if the knowledge is relevant and is transferable.
Storing experience and knowledge in the form of an ontology makes this knowledge reusable.
Persons of our generation had generally no schooling in ICT.
We had however the opportunity to incorporate continuously new technologies in production processes and a changing environment from business point of view too (VAT, EU internal market, EU extension in several waves, year 2000, EURO, ...).
These implementations ranged in the field of:
- data storage: from the telex tapes till the SD cards
- data manipulation: from water cooled monsters till super portables
- data entry: control through double entries via punched cards till logical controls including datatypes
The next revolution coming is the one beyond the input checks: generation of information and knowledge from the data.
I'm glad to be able to work in this field of activity and apply these "semantic" technologies from the beginning on.
It is real fun and exciting because there is a real business case.
